🔹 About the Role
As a Senior Carer at UK Health Kits Ltd, you will support the delivery of high-quality care and take a leadership role within the care team. This includes supervising junior staff, leading by example, and ensuring service users receive person-centred support that promotes dignity, safety, and independence.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Deliver hands-on care, including personal care, medication support, and community access
Lead shifts and provide guidance and mentorship to care staff
Conduct spot checks, shadow shifts, and informal supervision
Maintain accurate care records, MAR charts, and communication logs
Monitor the physical and emotional well-being of service users and escalate concerns
Assist in training and inducting new carers
Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding procedures, and internal policies
🧩 Essential Requirements
Full UK Driver’s Licence and access to your own vehicle
Prior experience working in care
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
Reliable, compassionate, and proactive attitude
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
Right to work in the UK
🎓 Desirable
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
Training in medication administration, manual handling, and safeguarding
Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities or autism
